I PUT PANTS ON FOR THIS

I had a messy childhood.
And like most of us, I'm working through my complicated relationship with the past in adulthood.

You deserve to feel seen and understood. I Put Pants On for This is a collection of essays about making sense of the painful as well as the mundane. It’s a tangible reminder that the impressions from our childhoods are indeed valid and worth processing.

Now in my early thirties, this book explores the residual nostalgia of a childhood spent between the wealthy suburbs of Washington D.C. and Bangkok, Thailand, while grappling with what to hang on to and what to leave behind from the mess that was life after. Using wit and curiosity, each essay takes readers on a journey through life’s less-than-perfect moments and their lasting impact.
